Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you access the pages, the provider processes technically necessary access data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the volume of data transferred and details of your browser and operating system.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data is not merged with other data sources.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, optionally your company and phone number, the selected topic, your message and the language version you used.

These details are sent to our mailbox by email and are additionally stored in our enquiry database so that we can track how far a request has been handled. The database is operated by Supabase; the servers are located in the Republic of Korea. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for Korea, which is the basis for this transfer.

Delivery runs through our email service provider. To prevent abuse, the IP address of the request is evaluated briefly in memory and is not stored permanently.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete both the email and the database record once the matter is closed and no statutory retention periods apply, and earlier on request.

Newsletter

For the newsletter we process your email address, the language you chose, the time of signup and confirmation, and the wording of the consent shown to you at signup.

Signup uses double opt-in: after you submit the form you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after that click do we add you to the list. If you do not confirm, nothing is ever sent to your address.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by writing to info@kewersoft.de. We log the signup and confirmation so that the consent can be evidenced.

Delivery runs through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor. After you unsubscribe we keep your address on a suppression list so that you receive no further emails.

Chat assistant

This website offers a chat assistant. The messages you enter and the course of the current conversation are transmitted to Google's programming interface (Gemini API, Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) in order to generate the answer. This involves a transfer to the USA.

Please do not enter personal data, credentials or confidential business information into the chat. For specific matters, please use the contact form or send us an email.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in giving visitors quick preliminary information (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not store chat transcripts.

Local storage in your browser

We store your language selection and your light or dark display preference in your browser's local storage. These entries remain on your device, are not transmitted to us and serve only to display the website.

Cookieless audience measurement

For audience measurement we use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting provider Vercel Inc. It records the page type (for example "service page" rather than the specific address), referrer, device type, browser and country of origin at country level.

The service sets no cookies, does not access information stored on your device and creates no cross-device or re-identifiable identifier. Your IP address is not stored; individual visitors are not identifiable to us and visits cannot be linked across several days.

Because no cookies are set and no data is read from your device, no consent is required under § 25 TDDDG and no consent banner is shown. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which content is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use no advertising, profiling or retargeting services.

Job applications

If you apply to us by email, we process the details you send us: contact data, CV, references and the content of your message.

The legal basis is § 26(1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR, for deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship. The documents are accessible only to us and are not passed on to third parties.

If no collaboration comes about, we delete the documents no later than six months after the process ends. If you would like us to keep your application longer for future opportunities, we ask for your consent beforehand.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest.

Please contact info@kewersoft.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.

Encryption

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
